Documenting the tiny printed labels stuck on the produce we eat every day.
Why fruit stickers?
The fruit sticker is the world's smallest piece of mass-market design — printed in billions, stuck on a banana for a few minutes, then peeled and thrown away. Behind each one is a cooperative, a grower, a colonial trade route, a typographer who chose those letters. We collect them, scan them, and write down what we can find.
What we do
Archive
Every sticker is photographed, scanned, and catalogued with its brand, origin country, and the year that design first appeared on fruit.
Shop
Selected entries are available as archival prints, framed plates, and reissue sticker packs. Sales fund further fieldwork.
Submit
Collectors and growers send us new finds every week. If you have a sticker we don't have, we want to see it.
